This idea has been kicking around for a while. While the specifics have changed a lot over its year and a half of development, the concept has stayed about the same: I wanted to highlight the ergonomic surfaces of the guitar that contact the player. Because of its simplicity and open design, the guitar also evokes forms not explicit in its minimal structure. This leaves one to imagine the guitar it might have been before deconstruction and reassembly.
